ATTENTION STUDENTS: Applications are currently being accepted for Leadership Fayetteville Youth Academy (LFYA) Class of 2018. LFYA is a competitive, community leadership program sponsored by the Greater Fayetteville Chamber in partnership with the Cumberland County Schools. This program is for rising juniors who are interested in (1) learning about local industry, the arts, healthcare, education, the military, etc.; and (2) becoming a young leader in our community. The application deadline has been extended until June 9. The application is attached. FAST (Fayetteville Area System of Transit) is starting a new summer program focused on youth (under 18 years) called the “Summer Fun Pass.” The program provides unlimited bus rides from June 1 through August 31 at the low price if $15 per pass.  This pass is available now for purchase by youths at FAST offices and at the Transfer Center. Plans are to sell passes at several of the City’s recreation centers.
