DBHS basketball imageThe GOFAN site is up for the Cumberland County Schools Holiday Classic Tournament. All tournament tickets only sold online all three days $25 plus .99 surcharge. This ticket is good for all three days, multiple sites in a day. This ticket is non-transferable. One day tickets will not be presold they are for purchase at the site you are wishing to view a game only. One day tickets are $10 and can be used to see all four games at the sit-in which they were purchased they cannot be used for multiple sites in one day. The only passes that will be accepted are NCHSAA, Coaches, and officials pass. Jostens Sales Representative will be on campus during lunches for make-up orders on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 11:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m.

Eagles News Center Douglas Byrd High School Soaring High! Winter Luncheon - DBHS SGA (Student Government Association)
Douglas Byrd High School SGA attended a leadership conference hosted by Westover High School on December 5, 2018.  The students got to listen to two educational leaders, Dr. Connelly and Dr. Lowery, share their ideas on what it means to be a leader and a promoter of change in ourselves and the community.

Joy, Peace and Love holiday image.Please consider adopting one of our precious students for Christmas. The beautiful “tree of blessings” is up in the main lobby, courtesy of the EC Department, and you will find little red Christmas trees with numbers on them for each student that is available for adoption. Pick a number and come to see the School Social Worker or click her name Candice Revels to email her for more details. We need all the support possible to make sure the selected students have a wonderful Christmas! All gifts need to be wrapped or bagged and turned in by Monday, December 17th. (Please put your students’ tree number on the bottom of gift for identification)
