The Conflict Resolution Group is facilitated by our CIA Partners Hope4NC! Our Douglas Byrd students are doing a great job and are fully engaged as they discuss ways to deescalate conflict, identity and reduce stress, the importance of practicing mindfulness as well as the benefits of journaling! ATTENTION Juniors and Seniors: The deadline for your junior and senior dues has been extended until January 10, 2020.  Dues must be paid in full to attend the prom.

  • Senior Dues: $90.00 
  • Junior Dues: $40.00

Also, Seniors, if you haven’t submitted your FAFSA yet, the holiday break would be a great time for you to do so.  The attached flyer has some brief information for you as well as a link to a form you can complete if you need assistance with FAFSA completion and financial aid issues in general. SENIORS,Image of the Douglas Byrd High School tag. if you have not ordered your cap and gown for graduation this announcement is for you!

Jostens will be here Wednesday, December 11th in front of the cafeteria for you to order your cap and gown. You must order your cap and gown no later than December 19th to avoid a $20.00 late fee. You do NOT have to pay for it when you place the order so make sure you stop by their table on December 11th. The payment is due by April 1st.  See Ms. Matthews in Student Services for questions.
