CCS Schools will be on a 3 hour early release, Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Breakfast will be served. All CCS schools and offices will be closed Thursday-Friday, September 13 and 14 to all staff and students. Please make plans to attend Cumberland County Schools’ Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr.’s Listening Tour.  His October tour stops are scheduled, Monday, October 1, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Douglas Byrd High School Auditorium, October 8, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Westover High Auditorium, October 15, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Southview High School Auditorium, and Monday, October 29, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the  Anne Chestnutt Middle School Gym. The community is invited to attend at least one of seven tour stops where Dr. Connelly will be listening to the concerns citizens have about what the school district can do to better support its students.
