Image of a boy holding a pencil.4-H Youth Futures College Within Reach Mentoring Program focuses on building relationships as well as college and career readiness for military-connected youth between the ages of 12-17. Participants are matched with individual mentors who guide them through a myriad of college preparation and readiness activities to help set the students up for success in their future. The students will be able to apply these skills as they embark on the next phase of their lives, whether it be higher education or workforce entry. Additionally, students will learn valuable ways of developing or strengthening relationships and support networks to enhance future decision making.  I’ve attached the following flyer College Within Reach 4-H National Mentoring Program that provides additional information about the program and points of contact. I have also provided the following link 2019 College Within Reach Mentoring Program to our program website where you can find information specific to each role and applications to the program.
