The following scholarship opportunity is brought to you by the State Employees’ Credit Union and is open to any senior with a 2.5 or higher unweighted GPA planning to enter one of the 16 constituent campuses of the University of North Carolina System. The SECU Foundation 2018 High School Scholarship program wishes to recognize academic achievement as well as leadership, integrity and community involvement. This is a $10,000 Scholarship! The preliminary application may be print below or picked up in Student Services. All applications are due to Ms. Leavy no later than 3:30 Friday, February 23, 2018.

Current 10th and 11th-grade students: If you’re interested in developing leadership skills, being a role model, and making a difference while earning class credit stop by Student Services to pick up a PGC (Peer Group Connections) mentor application. Applications are due no later than March 7th. See Ms. Matthews in Student Services or Coach Watson if you have questions.

This scholarship is for seniors with a minimum of 2.5 unweighted GPA, is a CTE Concentrator, has demonstrated need, and plans to attend any NC community college within one year after high school graduation.
